Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. This criterion is relaxed to 45% in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons With Disability (PWD) categories], from recognized institutes or Universitites.
The percentage calculation has to be done on the basis of the practice followed by the respective University or Institution. In case, the concerned University or Institution follows a CGPA marking scheme, they will have to provide a CGPA ot percentage conversion prodecure. If a University or Institute does not have any such set procedure, the conversion will use the formula: (Student CGPA/Max CGPA possible) * 100
Candidates currently appearing for the final year of their Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination or awaiting their final year results can also apply. However, these results are provisional in nature, and are subject to the candidate submitting his/her certificates within the deadline stipulated by the institute.
The Reservation policy on number of seats is as under:
SC - 15% | ST - 7.5% | OBC (Non Creamy Layer) - 27% | Upto 10% for Economically Weaker sections (EWS) | 5% - People with disabilities (PWD)
